Regrettably, I didn't win in my category. However, this has motivated me to learn more, improve my skills and technique and work harder.
Every cloud has a silver lining.

As a rule, I generally don't do competitions, awards or anything like that.
So, this year was a bit of a surprise to find out that I had the opportunity to showcase my work in the 2022 Arts and Entertainment Photographer of the Year by the British Press Photographers Association.
There's a bundle of organisations and clubs out there, but the BPPA is a big one. Looking at the other contributions in this category, it's an honour to be even mentioned in the same category as so many talented peers.
It's a humbling experience to be in such fantastic company.
